Smackdown In Shambles! Can Anyone Stop The Sinister Shane McMahon!?

After robbing our hero of his beloved belt once again at Summerslam, the Sinister Shane McMahon appeared on Smackdown to gloat. Our hero, the beloved Kevin Owens, put forth an admirable effort in convincing the Scourge Of Smackdown to allow him just one more opportunity to regain his belt from The Phenomenal Fiend, A.J. Styles. The decision was made to allow Kevin one last desperate chance at regaining what was rightfully his. The Tyrannical McMahon would even allow for Kevin to pick his own official for the upcoming bout in what some would call “an act of good faith”. Unbeknownst to our hero, the Mastermind McMahon had some dirty tricks up his sleeve. Nevertheless, our hero was bent upon finding a trusted ally to help him in his fight.
It wasn’t long before our friendly neighborhood zoo enthusiast found his former ward, Sami Zayn. The Boy Wonder and Kevin, despite their storied history together, were unable to come up with a plan they could agree upon to defeat the dreaded duo of McMahon and Styles. Upon seeing his friend and crime-fighting partner in need, Commissioner Dango offered to officiate the encounter. The thoughtful former belt holder knew he would be unable to accept the good Commissioner’s offer though, knowing it would be too dangerous for his valued compatriot. Running out of options, the Prince of the Pop-Up Powerbomb was forced to resort to some...unorthodox help. Reluctantly, he made an agreement with Baron, the town buffoon, to officiate the match. He knew that Baron, although completely untrustworthy when it came to handling his own luggage, could be trusted to handle this valuable job.
With his plan now in place, the Dark Knight Kevin strode to the arena of battle confident he would regain his prized belt. Handling Mr. A.J. would be easy, it was the villainous son of a McMahon that he had to keep an eye on.
It didn’t take long for Kevin to take the fight to his rival. So far, Baron had been doing his best referee impersonation keeping the action contained. Once it became clear that the KO Crusader’s victory was imminent, the Menacing McMahon made his presence known. Kevin with a well-placed assault on A.J. was about to have his rightfully property returned when McMahon snatched the oblivious Baron from the ring. Dumbfound and enraged, Baron stormed off allowing for McMahon to re-don the fabled refereeing attire. Seeing his nemesis, Kevin became distracted allowing The Phenomenal Fiend to roll outside the ring and land a crippling elbow.

Now still without his belt, what will become of our hero? Will he ever be able to recapture what is rightfully is? Can he ever vanquish the terrible team-up of Shane McMahon and A.J. Styles? Tune in next week to find out! Same Kev-Time, Same Kev-Channel!
